Article Snippet: The effect of any pre-existing circulating anti-human porcine antibodies upon hTEC was determined by exposing hTEC to porcine serum followed by flow cytometry analysis with FITC labelled anti-porcine IgG and IgM antibodies. hTEC (1×105) were incubated with increasing dilutions of porcine serum (50%, 20%, 10%, 5% and 2%) and treated with anti-pig IgG or IgM: FITC antibody (AHP865F and AAI39F; AbD Serotec) and 2% goat serum at 4oC.
